Responsibilities

  • Translating the requirements and objectives of strategic research into intuitive user stories. Expressing creative concepts through engaging designs that achieve functional specifications, communication objectives and promote user experience satisfaction. Generating creative concepts and ideas, applying them to interactive experiences and communicating them effectively through words and images. Producing quality design that accurately reflects a visual design language or brand guideline. 
  • Creating working wifeframes (including appropriate responsive states) and other prototypes that function and can be easily sent to developers. 
  • Collaborating on the initial brainstorming and project planning processes, focused on the user’s experience and the visual design process, and provides insight and creative ideas that align with client business goals and communication objectives. Following industry best practices for UX design and processes, gathering sufficient information to support appropriate recommendation for any given platform or technology. 
  • Supporting the preparation and execution of key client facing meetings. Listening to internal members wants/needs as it relates to the website and anywhere banking to help develop solutions to realize key opportunities. 
  • Conducting usability tests on projects to ensure that we succeed in creating a usable experience. Synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data to derive personas, use cases, concepts, user journeys, and information architectures.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of new and existing UX elements by incorporating user feedback, and best practices in order to continuously evolve and improve designs. Ensuring that from inception through approval, all design related client reviews consistently reflect the highest standards of excellence in execution and production. Monitoring and interpreting analytical data relating to behavior and use of LMCU website and using data to improve user experience. 

Qualifications

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • 3 to 5 years of similar or related experience coupled with a college degree in a related field. 
  • Prior experience with responsive web site design standards and requirements. 
  • Working knowledge of web technologies (Bootstrap, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and CMS).
  • Ability to implement object-oriented designs and troubleshoot code.
  • Established UX design skills.
  • Proficient with using the Adobe creative suite.
  • Ability to convert wireframe designs to working prototypes that developers can easily work with in a .net 
    environment.
  • Familiarity with designing for people with disabilities (ADA compliance). 
  • Ability to learn and support new systems and applications.
