Lake Michigan Credit Union is looking for a dedicated individual to join one of our team as a Social Media & Digital Marketing Specialist.
Developing email marketing campaigns that augment integrated strategies for each of LMCU’s business units. Works with the CRM planner/Media Buyer, Account Executives, and outside vendors if needed to distribute content externally.
Managing social media communications on a daily basis. Duties may include posting content, responding to inquiries in a timely manner, and sharing content as requested from other LMCU business groups. Managing presence and branding in social networking sites across all social media platforms and encouraging LMCU’s many audiences to contribute, facilitate, engage and interact with LMCU through these platforms.
Working with the Digital Design Manager to implement social media advertising campaigns. Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results. Regularly monitoring trends in social media tools and applications and providing feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring to the marketing team to help evolve LMCU’s strategies in a timely fashion.
Implementing LMCU’s social media strategy, coordinating with different business units to ensure its effectiveness and encouraging its adoption of relevant social media techniques. Serve as a first point-of-contact with each business unit and departments who need assistance with creating and maintaining a social media presence. Assisting the Digital Design Manager in crisis communications as needed via LMCU’s social media platforms.
Assisting with photography by shooting for staff and event photos that can be utilized on LMCU’s social media channels.
Preferred education and experience:
A minimum of one year up to three years of similar or related experience, coupled with a college degree.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Working knowledge of graphic design fundamentals/principles and in formatting graphics for social media purposes.
Familiarity with emerging trends in social media and a desire to innovatively advance LMCU’s social media presence.
Passion for developing fun and interesting content ideas for target audience.
