    Position Overview:


    The Space & Occupancy Planner will be responsible for space and occupancy planning of allL MCU buildings and locations. This individual will also be responsible for the accuracy of the space as well as move plans and assisting with real estate strategic plans. The Space & Occupancy Planner will serve as the central point of contact for all business units regarding work-space needs and requirements
    and will collaborate with business units to develop workplace solutions that align with LMCU’s business strategy and that optimize space utilization within corporate guidelines.


    • Coordinating and overseeing the allocation of building space, office layouts, furniture and cubicles. Monitoring unassigned space and making recommendations on use. Managing relocations including the development and execution of project planning activities, timing of group moves/relocations and migration.
    • Organizing all aspects of furniture orders and purchases, including invoice reconciliation. Verifying new furniture deliveries and appropriate documentation.
    • Maintaining catalog and finish libraries, keeping floor plans filed and updated, and meeting with vendors to update libraries, as necessary.
    • Submitting work orders for approved projects to vendors and working closely with vendors to ensure projects are being completed on time and in a professional manner.
    • Traveling to all LMCU buildings and locations to conduct quarterly space audits to determine space needs and priorities. Evaluating space utilization for departments and identifying opportunities to increase the maximization and efficiency of the space.
    • Working with all departments to implement plans aligned with corporate guidelines, including scenarios to optimize use of space while meeting business requirements.



    • A minimum of one to three years of similar or related experience coupled with a college degree. 
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
    • Ability to travel as necessary to all LMCU buildings and locations is required. 
    • Able to maintain confidentiality at the highest level.
