    Lake Michigan Credit Union is looking for a dedicated individual to join our Information Systems department at our corporate office as a Information Systems Intern for the winter months (January, 2019 - April, 2019).

     

    Location – Corporate, Glenwood Hills – 5540 Glenwood Hills Parkway SE Grand Rapids, MI 49512

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities of an Information Systems Intern could inlude the following:

     

    • Assisting with the creation of purchase orders. 
    • Tracking and updating hardware and software contracts. 
    • Assisting in verifying all employee requests submitted to the Information Systems department.
    • Updating all documents and inventory within the Information Systems department, including Disaster Recovery software. 
    • Assisting in documeting procedures and updating all Information System databases. 
    • Assisting with other tasks as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Experienced and knowledgable with using the Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks at one time and is very detail-oriented.
    • 3.0 GPA or greater.
    • College student at freshmen, sophomore, junior, senior or master level status or a recent college graduate within the last 3 months with a focus in Computer Information Systems or a related business field.
