    Position Overview:

    The ATM Service Technician 1 is responsible for providing First Line service to all Credit Union ATM equipment, balancing ATM transactions by verifying member checks and cash against the ATM machine transaction summary, balancing transaction totals for each assigned ATM machine and adjusting accounts with member input errors. This position is also responsible for routine preventative maintenance of machine.




    • Ensures all assigned ATM machines are operational and checking for ATM malfunctions on a daily basis according to established procedures.
    • Performs preventative maintenance routines on ATMs and CDMs on a scheduled basis.
    • Balances ATM transactions by verification of member checks and cash against the ATM machine transaction summary. Adjusts accounts with input errors in the appropriate ledger.

    • Ensures all maintenance on ATM machines are completed timely at non peak times to provide members maximum use of the service.

    • Assists with branch equipment service and repair as required by management including locks, vaults, drive through equipment and security cameras.
    • Safely operates LMCU vehicles and ensuring that regular maintenance on vehicles is preformed by an authorized service provider.



    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • No high school or college degree required.
    • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electronic components.
    • PC, IT, equipment repair certifications or similar education or credentials.
    • Experience servicing ATM's is preferred, but not required.
    • A valid Michigan Driver License coupled with a good driving record is required.
    • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds and being able to navigate through parking lots/office buildings in all types of weather conditions.
    • Able to work a flexible shift between 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. weekdays, coupled with on-call responsibilities for the overnight and weekend hours, on a rotating basis with other team members.
